Italian Truckers Call Off Strike Over Strict Laws

Italian truck drivers agreed Friday to call off a weeklong strike that has disrupted gasoline supplies and caused shortages of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The drivers called the strike to protest a government decree imposing stiff fines for speeding and carrying excessive loads.
