California will kick off its bicentennial celebration of the U.S. Constitution with a gala celebration at Disneyland April 9, organizers of the event announced. California Bicentennial Foundation for the United States Constitution spokesman Ray Kabaker said the party is designed to welcome members of the President’s Bicentennial Commission, which will be meeting April 9 and 10. During an evening musical program at the amusement park, he said, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will present its annual medal of honor to producer David Wolper.
