KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Calif. —
A final winter search failed to turn up any trace of a cross-country skier missing since Feb. 11.

Park spokesman Marvin Jensen said that improved weather made it possible to resume the hunt for Simmons Sunday and searchers used dogs and avalanche poles.
