“The Magic Toyshop” (Great Britain, 5:30 p.m.). Adapted by Angela Carter from her book about the awakening sexuality of a 15-year-old girl whose life is rocked by the death of her parents. Directed by David Wheatley. Not available for preview.

“Ed Emshwiller Videos” (AFI Campus, Mark Goodson Screening Room, 7:30 p.m.). A selection of videos from 1971-86. Emshwiller, a 1987 winner of the AFI Maya Deren Award for Independent Film and Video, is scheduled to be present. Not available for preview.
