The Nuts and Bolts

As an attorney specializing in travel law, it is part of my job to keep abreast of developments in the travel area. In addition to reading the industry trade journals I always buy the Sunday Los Angeles Times for your Travel Section. I would like to commend you on what I consider an excellent endeavor.

I enjoy many of your regular columnists, especially Peter Greenberg. I find his articles full of the nuts and bolts information and practical tips that a frequent traveler needs. While most travel writers only extol the virtues of people and places, Greenberg’s columns tell it like it is. I have especially enjoyed his recent articles on duty-free shopping, hidden city fares and in-flight drinking. Keep up the good work and please run more consumer-oriented articles like Greenberg’s.
