Eddie Murphy’s $30-million breach of contract trial continued in Mineola, N.Y., Tuesday with theatrical agent King Broder conceding that his business certification had been revoked by the American Federation of Musicians and the American Guild of Variety Artists. Plaintiff Broder testified Monday that he got Murphy an audition on TV’s “Saturday Night Live” and refused Murphy’s request to get out of his contract. Murphy’s attorney claims the actor was trapped into a six-year contract taking 25% of his earnings and was never told to consult an attorney first.
