An Anaheim man was fined $50,000 and sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for his role in a family-style cocaine network that prosecutors say stretched from Southern California to Florida, Panama and Colombia. Abraham Ernesto Rojas, 51, of Anaheim, a Colombian national, was convicted of six narcotics trafficking charges arising from his alleged leadership of an organization that wholesaled at least $50 million in cocaine to street dealers, laundering profits through a Fullerton currency exchange that was closed down by the state. He and his son, Ernesto Ivan Rojas, 30, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined $50,000 on five drug trafficking charges, were among 30 people arrested in a series of Southland raids in November, 1985.
