MORE MOURNING

In the past, I’ve always enjoyed the weekday Calendar section, but your recent addition--that clump of news trivia euphemistically titled the Morning Report--has been a big disappointment.

All those boring, useless items! (A quick survey among friends proved that I am not alone in my feelings. The common refrain about M.R.’s Teletype blurbs was, “Who cares ?”)

If enough of us write in, will it go away?
