Rezoning of San Gabriel Drive-In Urged

SAN GABRIEL — The City Council will conduct a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on a proposal to rezone a closed drive-in theater on Valley Boulevard near Del Mar Avenue to permit construction of a four-story hotel, shops and restaurants.
The 11.5-acres site would be designated for planned-development zoning under a proposal submitted by a development group headed by Alethea Hsu, a Monterey Park doctor.
