The Sockers’ injuries continue to mount. Forward Juli Veee will miss three to five weeks with sprained ligaments in his right knee, the Sockers said Sunday night. Veee (22 goals and 17 assists in 29 games) suffered the injury in San Diego’s 6-2 loss to Kansas City Saturday night.

Veee joins midfielders Brian Quinn and Hugo Perez, who are out with sprained ligaments in their right knees. Quinn is expected to be out until at least mid-April and Perez is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

Defender George Katakalidis will be sidelined indefinitely with a sprained left toe. Midfielder Branko Segota, the team’s leading scorer, was hampered by a sprained right quadriceps Saturday night and is questionable for the Sockers’ game against St. Louis Wednesday.
