Dov Zakheim, a senior Pentagon policy official for six years who led the Administration’s fight against Israel’s plans to build the Lavi fighter-bomber, will leave his post, sources said. Zakheim, 38, is leaving his job as deputy undersecretary of defense for planning and resources for a position with the System Planning Corp. in Arlington, Va., because of an offer that more than doubles his current $75,000-a-year salary, the sources, who requested anonymity, said.
