Torrance : Marsh Landscape Contract
The City Council authorized staff to negotiate a $50,000 design contract for landscaping on the perimeter of the city’s recently acquired Madrona Marsh. Elements of the plan include security fencing to keep vandals and people riding motorbikes from damaging the environmentally sensitive marsh, which is north of Sepulveda Boulevard and east of Del Amo Fashion Center. Improvements intended to beautify the edge of the marsh include paths for bicycles and pedestrians.
