Anaheim : Family Left Homelesss by Early Morning Fire
A mother and her four children were left homeless Saturday, when an early morning fire gutted their home in the 1300 block of North Gilbert Street, authorities said.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to put out the flames, Fire Capt. Roger Smith said. Total damage was about $60,000, Smith said. There were no injuries.
The Orange County Red Cross is providing food and shelter for Sharon Apaez, whose age is unknown, and her four children until March 23, said organization spokesman John Hall.
