Free Health Screenings to Be Offered at Health Fair Expo

Free health screenings will be offered at Westside locations as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Health Fair Expo ’87 from March 27 to April 5.

At some locations, screenings for hearing, dental health, podiatry, anemia, sickle cell, glaucoma and a heart learning center also will be provided. Many sites will offer screenings for children 3 and older. In addition, for a $12 fee, participants can take a blood test that covers cholesterol, diabetes, liver and kidney functions.

Westside locations are:

Veterans Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Ave., auditorium, Culver City, Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Health Fair Expo is a community service promoted by KNBC-TV and funded by Chevron U. S. A. The American Red Cross and the Hospital Council of Southern California act as coordinating sponsors of the project.
