Two institutions won dairy research grants.
UC-Davis and Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo were chosen by the National Dairy Board to jointly set up one of six research centers nationwide. The board agreed to provide $2.7 million a year for five years to support the centers, starting in September, with matching contributions from local dairy interests and the participating institutions.
