The first comprehensive exhibition of 16th- and 17th-Century Italian paintings from the North Italian region of Parma, Ferrarra and Bologna will be on view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York March 26-May 24. “The Age of Correggio and the Carracci,” contains about 200 paintings, from small panels to large altarpieces and frescoes.
