Fullerton : County’s Science Fair to Run May 4 Through 9
This year’s Orange County Science and Engineering Fair will be held May 4 to 9 at Cal State Fullerton, the Orange County Department of Education announced.
The 32nd annual fair will be held in Cal State Fullerton’s University Center and is open to all students in the county who are in grades 7 through 12.
“The purpose of the fair is to stimulate student growth and application in mathematics and science and to encourage the youth of our county to consider a career in science or engineering,” a county Department of Education spokesman said. “Participants (in the fair) are considered for a variety of prestigious awards and honors and may be selected to enter their project in the California State Science Fair.”
Entry forms are available by calling the instructional services division, Orange County Department of Education, on weekdays at (714) 966-4335. The deadline for entries is April 27.
