Mike Hammer is getting married! That’s right. In the episode of “The New Mike Hammer” scheduled to air April 11 on CBS, he takes the vows with a woman played by Barbara Stock. There’s an ulterior motive, of course--she’s in danger of being deported and he needs her testimony to clear him of a murder rap.

Anthony Perkins has been cast in ABC’s “Napoleon and Josephine: A Love Story” as Tallyrand, Napoleon’s political rival. Stephanie Beacham, who plays Sable Colby on “The Colbys,” will play Josephine’s best friend, Therese. Armand Assante and Jacqueline Bisset have the title roles. Also in the six-hour miniseries are Steve Railsback, Patrick Cassidy and John Vickery.

And speaking of Perkins, the scene of his dastardly doings in the “Psycho” films is going to be used in a TV movie called, appropriately, “Bates Motel.” He won’t be in it, though. Bud Cort will. The star of such films as “Harold and Maude” and “Brewster McCloud” plays a former mental patient who inherits the motel from Norman Bates. Jason Bateman and Moses Gunn also will appear.

Crime-solving clergy? That’s the premise of “Father Dowling,” a TV movie that will be seen on NBC. Tom Bosley, who played the father on “Happy Days,” is cast as a priest who suspects that a reported suicide was actually a murder. Assisting him is a nun played by Tracy Nelson, who starred on TV in “Square Pegs” and “Glitter.”

Another movie in the works for NBC is “Aaron’s Way,” with Merlin Olsen and Belinda Montgomery starring as an Amish couple who move from Pennsylvania to Northern California. Also in the cast are Kathleen York as the pregnant girlfriend of their late son and Jessica Walter as the girl’s mother.

The CBS soap opera “As the World Turns” will celebrate its 31st anniversary Thursday. Still going from the original cast is Helen Wagner, who plays Nancy Hughes. Three other actors have been on the show for more than 26 years each: Eileen Fulton (who plays Lisa McColl), Don Hastings (Dr. Bob Hughes) and Patricia Bruder (Ellen Stewart).
