The Senate select committee on Iran, zeroing in on a close associate of Lt. Col. Oliver L. North, voted limited immunity today to compel two secretaries in the private company of retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Richard V. Secord to testify.

Sen. Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii), chairman of the Senate panel, said the committee voted to grant immunity to Shirley Napier and Joan Corbin, whom he described as low-level employees of Secord’s company.
