A grand jury seeks Anheuser-Busch documents.

The nation’s largest brewer said it had been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in St. Louis relating to a company investigation into employees receiving kickbacks from suppliers. The investigation began after allegations of kickbacks to three Anheuser marketing executives appeared in the bankruptcy proceedings of a defunct advertising agency. Those three executives left the brewer earlier this month, and last week Vice President Dennis Long resigned, saying he accepted responsibility for what happened.
