Lighting the Hollywood Sign
The Hollywood sign has a beauty, grace and history all its own. As a longtime resident of Hollywood, I hope that this world-famous treasure does not become a cheap rental gimmick.
Surely the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce could raise a measly $27,000 for repairs rather than letting a TV company slap its name up there for a week on our Eiffel Tower, our Brooklyn Bridge.
