Cowboy Septien Gets Probation

DENTON, Tex. —
Dallas Cowboys kicker Rafael Septien pleaded guilty to a charge of indecency with a child today in a plea bargain agreement for a sentence of 10 years probation and a $2,000 fine.
Septien, 33, was indicted Jan. 22 for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old friend of his roommate’s daughter. He originally pleaded innocent to the charge. A native of Mexico, Septien joined the Cowboys in 1978 after attending the University of Southwest Louisiana.
