Ocean View’s Fyhrie Signs to Attend UCLA

Mike Fyhrie, an Ocean View High School shortstop/pitcher, has signed a national letter of intent to attend UCLA on a baseball scholarship. The 6-foot 2-inch, 180-pound senior is hitting .375 and has a 5-1 pitching record with 47 strikeouts.

He hit .370 for the Seahawks last season and was an All-Sunset League first-team selection.
