9 Hurt as Commuter Plane Makes Emergency Landing

HYANNIS, Mass. —
A twin-engine commuter plane made an emergency landing shortly after taking off Sunday, causing minor injuries to all nine people aboard, officials said. The plane, bound for Nantucket Island, landed on a fire road off the end of the runway at Barnstable Municipal Airport. The engine failed after takeoff, an official said.
