Rider Finds Body in Porter Ranch Park
A passer-by on horseback found a partly decomposed body in Porter Ranch Park in Northridge on Monday, Los Angeles police said.
The rider sighted the body in a riverbed in the Limekiln Canyon area of the park, at Chatsworth Street and Tampa Avenue, police said. Police had no indication of how long the body had been there or of the cause of death, said Sgt. Hans Rollenhagen.
