Fleetwood Mac’s “Tango in the Night” debuted on the Billboard magazine pop album chart at No. 43--and it’s looking like a sure Top 10 album. Cutting Crew is suddenly one of the hottest bands around. Its “Broadcast” album (No. 21) gets stronger each week, largely thanks to the single, “(I Just) Died in Your Arms,” which took a mighty leap from No. 5 to No. 1 on the singles chart. With the fast-rising “Big Life” (No. 28), Night Ranger apparently will have another Top 10 album in the next few weeks. Britain’s the Cult is powering its way up the chart. After two weeks, the band’s “Electric” is No. 44. U2’s “The Joshua Tree” is No. 1 for the second week in a row. Hot singles: the Breakfast Club’s “Right on Track” (No. 20), Kim Wilde’s “You Keep Me Hanging on” (No. 23) and Atlantic Starr’s “Always” (No. 26).
