An Orange County punk band named Doggy Style is stirring up controversy for putting a condom in every copy of its LP “The Last Laugh.” The gimmick, an attempt to capitalize on “safe sex” efforts to reduce the spread of AIDS, follows a similar campaign by the British group Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The band took out an ad in the Feb. 28 issue of Melody Maker for “The F.G.T.H. Condom.” The ad promotes the group’s new “Watching the Wildlife” and states that it is also available on a “condom cassette.”
