Majorca and Malta
The Mature Traveler column of March 22 mentioned “Majorca in the Canary Islands.” Majorca is in the Mediterranean, part of the Balearics group, whereas the Canaries are in the Atlantic off Morocco.
The article about Malta on March 15 only mentioned the very expensive luxury hotels, but there are numerous good and reasonably priced hotels and apartments.
