Countywide : L.A. County Prosecutor Put on Municipal Court
Gov. George Deukmejian on Wednesday appointed Los Angeles County prosecutor Michael Brenner to the Orange County Municipal Court.
Brenner, 46, of Villa Park, will replace Judge C. Robert Jameson, who was promoted to the Superior Court.
Brenner has been a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles since 1970. Before that he was a partner in the Redondo Beach law firm of Needle & Brenner and a public defender for Los Angeles County.
Brenner received a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 1963 and his law degree from the same school three years later.
Municipal Court judges are paid $74,432 a year.
