Costa Mesa : Arts Center to House Law School Graduation

Western State University College of Law will hold its annual graduation May 25 in the Orange County Performing Arts Center. It will be the first graduation ceremony to be held in the new building.

The law college, situated in Fullerton, announced that the commencement speaker will be David Glyndwr Tudor Williams, president of Wolfson College of Cambridge University in England. Williams is an expert on the U.S. Constitution, and in his commencement speech he will give a British perspective on the Constitution in its 200th year.

Williams also will receive an honorary doctorate of law degree from Western State University in recognition of his contribution to legal education.

He is one of several prominent English professors of law who lecture Western State law students that elect to study in the summer at the law school’s Cambridge program.
