Replacing “St. Elsewhere” with “The Bronx Zoo,” even though the move was only temporary, was like trading a diamond for a cubic zirconium. “The Bronx Zoo” didn’t have half the heart, intelligence or realism as “St. Elsewhere.” Who’s ever heard of a Bronx high school that has an equal mix of all races and teachers who look like fashion models? Get real.
