Rep. Ford Pleads Innocent

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
Rep. Harold E. Ford (D-Tenn.) pleaded innocent today to charges he peddled political influence in return for loans from the Butcher banking empire. Ford, 41, was ordered to trial Nov. 9.
