The University of Texas announced that it had banned two boosters from associating with its athletic program and had reprimanded three staff members, reportedly including football Coach David McWilliams, for their roles in alleged National Collegiate Athletic Assn. violations.
The university also sent letters of admonition to four unidentified boosters but administered no other sanctions.
