West Los Angeles : Claims Court Open at Night
The Los Angeles Municipal Court has opened a night court for small-claims matters at the West Los Angeles Branch Court, Division 94, 1633 Purdue Ave.
The West Los Angeles clerk’s office will set cases for small-claims night court at the request of the filing party. A case may be filed in this court if the defendant is a resident of Los Angeles or San Fernando or the case is a result of an action within those cities’ limits.
The jurisdiction of small claims court is restricted to actions for money involving $1,500 or less.
