‘No Rescue in Bill to Save Pound Animals’
It is sad that dogs and cats end up in the pound. But, it is even sadder to hear someone like Frankie Trull make a senseless comment of, since these “dogs and cats in pounds die anyway,” it is acceptable to use them for animal research.
Dogs and cats have always been man’s best friends and their loyalty should be appreciated. But, if they’re unlucky enough, because of some uncaring owner, to end up at the pound and no home can be found for them, then they should not have to go through the abuse and suffering that some of these animal researchers will put them through. At least the animal shelter puts them to sleep humanely.
