Chamber Plans Leader Program
The Los Angeles West Chamber of Commerce is organizing a program called Leadership L.A. .
The program will seek out potential leaders and train them for positions of community responsibility, according to Everett Ascher, chairman of the chamber’s board of directors.
Dori Pye, chamber president, said applications are being accepted from business, the professions, labor, civic organizations and public and private agencies. The first class will be limited to 40 participants, she said.
