A Lakeside couple pleaded innocent Wednesday to 13 charges including the unlawful exploitation of children in a homemade, pornographic movie.

Brock Edward Watson, 38, was ordered held in County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. The bail for co-defendant Donna Lee Waugh, 21, also known as Donna Webber, was set at $100,000.

The charges include four counts of unlawful intercourse with a 17-year-old girl, and lewd, lascivious acts on another girl who is under 13 years of age.

San Diego Municipal Judge Richard Hanscom ordered a June 4 preliminary hearing and set May 26 for a bail review.

“They’re (the prosecution) trying to turn this into he’s a big porn film maker, and that’s not the case,” said the couple’s attorney, Merle Schneidewind.

Schneidewind said the films were not made for distribution.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Harry Elias said a 14-month-old boy was pictured nude in the homemade film, in which Watson was also nude with another woman.

Schneidewind said the toddler just happened to walk in in the middle of a sex scene in the movie, and that was the only scene to feature the boy.

“There’s no forcefulness in these films . . . other than filming sex acts of consenting adults. It’s not a violent film,” said Schneidewind.

Elias disagreed with Schneidewind’s judgment that no force was shown in the movies, saying there was one scene with restraints that included handcuffs.
