L.A. Police Officer Wins NRA Pistol Shoot

COLUMBIA, Mo. —
John Pride, a Los Angeles police officer, scored 1,912 points and 151 bull’s-eyes in four events to win the National Rifle Assn. Bianchi Cup pistol competition Friday.
Pride’s total came from participating in moving-target, barricade, practical and falling-plate events. The total possible score was 1,920 points and 192 bull’s-eyes.
