Mal Young Oh, a passenger injured in the crash of a tourist bus returning to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, has died at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, raising the death toll to seven, authorities said. The 11 passengers on the bus were Korean tourists. California Highway Patrol officials said that driver error appeared to have caused the tour van to overturn on Interstate 15 just west of the Nevada state line. The driver of the bus, Sung Il Kim, 31, remained in serious but stable condition at Humana Hospital Sunrise in Las Vegas. CHP officers earlier said Kim, who is not properly licensed to operate a commercial bus and has been cited twice for speeding in a similar van within the last five months, may face vehicular manslaughter charges.
