LONG BEACH BALLET CANCELS ‘GISELLES’
Long Beach Ballet has canceled the three performances of “Giselle,” scheduled for Friday through Sunday at the Terrace Theatre in Long Beach.
According to artistic director David Wilcox, the cancellation was necessitated by the company’s economic troubles and by a conflict with “Giselles” mounted by American Ballet Theatre at Shrine Auditorium in March and by the Bolshoi Ballet during its coming summer engagement at the Music Center.
