Dallas Maverick officials say they will meet with former Phoenix Suns’ coach John MacLeod today to discuss the NBA team’s vacant head coaching job.
The Suns fired MacLeod in March during his 14th year with the team. Dick Motta, who coached the Mavericks their first seven years in the league, resigned last month.
Dallas wanted to hire former Milwaukee coach Don Nelson, but he decided to become a part-owner of the Golden State Warriors.
