Absence

Share

Has anyone noticed that in the current U.S.-Soviet disarmament negotiations at Geneva, so central to the future of humanity, women are conspicuous by their absence from both delegations?

Given the established masculine propensity for mayhem (see any set of violent-crime statistics), and the contrasting feminine impulse toward peaceful nurturing, isn’t this a little odd--not to say stupid?
