The Clippers exercised their contract option and retained the rights to guard Quintin Daily, who averaged 10.6 points per game in 49 games last season. Dailey, 26, would have become a free agent if the Clippers had not exercised their option.
The club did release forward Rory White, making him a free agent. White averaged 9.2 points a game in the past season.
