A police officer on a drug stakeout in the Bronx made an unexpected recovery--a van carrying two rare white tigers that had been stolen hours before in Manhattan. The rental truck carrying the two 10-month-old, 110-pound cats was stolen when the drivers were stopped at a diner while en route to a TV studio where the tigers were to appear on a morning program. The two are part of the Siegfried and Roy magical act and were bred by the two entertainers on their Nevada estate. The large cats were reported in good condition.
