COMMENCEMENT 1987: UCSD
Commencement ceremonies for the 16th graduating class of the UC San Diego School of Medicine were held at 11 a.m. Sunday on the lawn west of the school’s Biomedical Library. An estimated 120 physicians graduated from the school in such declared specialties as family medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, pathology and emergency medicine. Dr. Gladden V. Elliott, immediate past president of the California Medical Assn., addressed the graduating class.
Degrees: 120 graduate degrees awarded.
