A medical helicopter returning from being on exhibit at a fire department in Bay City, Mich., crashed, killing two people and injuring a third, state police said. The helicopter, operated by St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, was lifting off to return to Saginaw when the accident occurred, Trooper Thomas Pietrzak said. “They hadn’t gained a whole lot of altitude when they were taking off,” he said.
