Bogus Bill Suspect Held

LARNACA, Cyprus —
A Lebanese pilot accused of possessing $4,400 in counterfeit U.S. currency was remanded in custody for eight days by a district court Saturday. Police told the court they arrested Chassan Hassan Reda al-Sayed, 27, when he tried to pay a $30 restaurant bill with a forged $100 bill in Larnaca on Friday.
