L.A. Gear Inc. of Los Angeles named Elliot J. Horowitz, 40, to the new post of executive vice president and a director. Also, Sandy Saemann, 39, executive vice president-marketing and secretary of L.A. Gear, and Richard W. Schubert were appointed directors. Schubert, 35, is a partner-general counsel in the Los Angeles law firm of Leeds, Schubert, Glassman, Schwartzberg & Guggenheim.
