Drought Destroys Rice

JAKARTA, Indonesia —
More than 10,000 families in East Nusatenggara province, 900 miles east of Jakarta, are facing food shortages because a long drought destroyed much of the area’s rice crop, the Jakarta Post said Wednesday.
