Fukumi Tani sank an 18-foot birdie putt on the final hole Sunday and won the Dunlop Ladies Open golf tournament by one shot, the first victory in her seven-year pro career.

The victory was worth $41,400 out of the total purse of $241,000.

Tani’s birdie on the 509-yard, par-5 18th hole broke a four-way tie for the lead after the 17th hole.

Tani shot her second consecutive 69 Sunday and finished the rain-shortened 36-hole tournament with 138, 6-under par on the 6,088-yard, par-72 Boso Country Club’s East Course. Saturday’s scheduled round was canceled because of heavy rain and strong wind.
